Visiting Ghent in December for the Christmas markets is always a good idea. The markets are wonderful, the atmosphere is magical and the everyone is in high spirits. Saying that, it gets very cold and sometimes rainy so running into cafes for shelter is a must. Whilst we were hunting for the best cafe to hibernate in, we found Huize Colette, the BEST place in Ghent for a hot chocolate. Find the location here.
The lovely cafe serves coffee, food and of course, hot chocolate. These hot chocolates were amazing, and were made using actual melted chocolate and were so rich in taste, yet not too rich or thick. We can personally recommend the regular hot chocolate as well as the white hot chocolate (get the white one) – it’s so good.
Enjoy your hot choccies!
As always, love Elise x
